Brok is Kenneth Clark’s alter ego. Born in 1999 in Valladolid, Spain, he studied classical music at the conservatory from an early age, where a growing fascination with jazz and improvisation took hold. That spirit became the seed for everything that followed — a body of work spanning painting, photography, literature, performance art, videography and music. At its core lies a sustained inquiry into experimentation itself: how an atmosphere ripens into an artistic outcome, and how emotion can be drawn out and heightened by the atmospheres that surround it.
Red is the thread that binds the work. For Brok it is the colour of primary urges — of passion and pain, of dirt and desire, of every emotion lived at its extreme. It is the pulse beneath the surface, the first and most visceral language we feel before we think. To paint in red is to work at that raw edge where feeling overwhelms reason.
Brok lives his whole life under one banner: passion, red, and ambition.
